CO Quicksilver Approved

Hi! I'm new and have been lurking on this site for a while and wanted to share that I got approved for a Capital One Quicksilver card with a 2K limit.

Question - Does this been that I've been bucketed and will have difficulty getting a CLI? Or is 2K a good amount to start with?

Re: CO Quicksilver Approved

Imo most bucketed cards from cap 1 are 300 -500 cl .2k may not be bucketed .one thing to consider .cap 1 is really hard to figure on cli's. Even cards with large limits have reported going years without a cli .theirs even a few Myfico's users that have reported a 100.00 cli .

Firstly, welcome to the forum.

2k is a really nice sl imho. A lot of people including me start off at 300.

Only time will tell if it is bucketed but 2k provides some decent spending room for a QS.

Without knowing anything about your profile, it's hard to say. But based on the limit alone I'd say not bucketed.

Re: CO Quicksilver Approved

Great start @Amber_619 ! My original platinum began with an even smaller line, just 1500 in 2016. Its been upgraded to a QS and is at $6500 now. You should be in good shape if you concentrate your natural spend on it, and ask for CLI's on a measured basis. Good luck to you!

Grats on your QS approval Smiley Happy

Its the platinum and QS1 that usually are bucketed not the QS itself. 2K is a great SL, welcome to myFico.
