Finally pulled the trigger on the CSP the other night to get the signup bonus and also finally utilize all the UR points I have accumulated with my Freedom card. It was my first app since May 21, 2013, thereby breaking my 10 month long Gardening streak. Gardening worked well for me though as I was instantly approved with a $12,000 Credit Limit. I went with the $95 AF card and the traditional 40,000 UR point offer. It's going to be tough meeting that $3,000 in spending so I had Chase rush the card so that I could get every possible day to hit that spending requirement. All it took was a secure message.
I'll post more details about my credit profile as I figure it all out, but my last TU FICO from Barclays was 746. Chase pulled EX for me last time I applied, and I had 5 inquiries on EX this time. All of them over a year old! I didn't even attempt to maximize utilization for this, and its unlikely that my Barclays CLI even posted to my credit report yet. My guess is utilization was somewhere between 10-20%, but like I said I will get more information as I check my credit reports over the coming days.
I'm looking forward to using all these UR Points for a few free flights!
