Hi guys,
I just thought I'd share that I was just approved for my first Chase card-- the CSP-- with a very thin file. I was approved with the following scores:
EX- 723
EQ- 717
TU- 736
My Discover It (started as secured) just turned 1 year old. And my only other card is the BCE, which I've had for only 4 months. My combined CL was $4,800, but it just jumped to $9,800 thanks to this approval. I'm stoked, and very surprised! It really felt like a long shot, but I thought I'd try for that 80,000 point intro bonus. I have had a checking account with Chase for years, and I really think the relationship helped. If anyone is on the fence about applying with a thin file, hopefully this gives you some hope
Congrats on your approval
