I had preapproval for this card and broke down a couple days ago and applied in branch. Needed additional information so the banker called in and I talked to an analyst. Verified the information on the app and she said it needed to goto a senior analyst for approval and would get a decision in 24-48 hours. I logged into my chase account this morning to check on my accounts and I now see a CSP with a $5000 limit on there. Guess I have some spending to do to get the 40k UR points.

Think I'm done until some time next year.

I wish I did it in branch. Now I have to spend an extra 1k

It's still a $3k spend for the 40k points even if you apply in branch. I was told that they had done a promotion for CPC to do in branch app for CSP and that was $2k spend for 40k points but you had to be CPC to qualify.
