I was a bit nervous last night when I applied for a CSP (3 weeks after downgrading my last one to the Freedom Flex) and it was not approved instantly, but then I found out that LifeLock had my TransUnion report locked. I didn't even know that was a thing. It wasnt locked at Transunion, just LifeLock.
I called Chase this morning and they were able to approve me over the phone. As soon as I verified my new Chase account was showing up in my online account, I logged into Hilton and applied for the Aspire card. I have large expenses coming up, part of which involves ten nights in various Hiltons, a rental car, and interstate movers, so I will easily be able to meet minimum spend for both cards in the next couple months.
