Just returned from Chase branch with an approval a $17,000 SL!!!!!

I've posted a few things here before, and I've shared a bit of my long slog from BK 10 years ago, through the rebuilding cards with their $1,000 limits. Learned so much here about the nuances of credit scoring and management. Thank you.

This approval feels like a tangible "congrats" for the years of hard work and sacrifice to get my credit to a reasonable place. I've been responsible for years, and will continue with this credit limit. My Cap Ones, Mercury, and Merrick are all to be buried in sock drawer to age like wine!!

2 inqs on eq, and zero on others

no new cards for 4 years, one loan

40% util, with $4,000 highest limit!!

I had been eying this card for a while, and finally got the courage to check in branch for offers. Was informed that I was prequalified for CSP and CSR. Thought it over for two days and decided that the Preferred fit my needs better. Pleasantly suprised with Cl! Brings my util down below 20%. I'm very happy and done for quite a while!!
