CSP approved! How long to wait for CLI (using the SAME hp as the approval)

approved for 5000 (was hoping for around 8500 ( then take 1500 of my slate CL and move it over to the csp)

id like to maximize this HP they did.... So how long should I wait to ask for a CLI on the CSP, and my freedom? and are there any chances that I could get it done on THIS hp that they just did? 

Also what's the best way to ask for a CLI? Phone call or secure message?

Any CLIs will be another HP.  Chase will not re-use the same HP for your approval for a CLI.  If $5K was the most they could approve from the getgo, then it's likely not much more would be granted.  Otherwise the SL would be higher.

While it's YEMV, very few individuals have received a CLI upon approval with the same HP but this is not set in stone while others have not received one.  You can call them or SM to submit a CLI request.  Typically, unless you receive an auto-CLI, you can try within a 6-month timeframe if you are heavily using the card.

I'm going to definitely heavy use the csp (probably need 2 months to get the bonus)

since they hey are going to do another HP.... I'll wait until the slate AND the freedom are 6 months old (next week) and see what they say

is it really normal to ask for 2 CLI's at the same time though??

congrats on CSP! 5K seems to be pretty common so don't feel too bad, just use it well and try for a CLI a bit later.

If you want you can transfer limit from another Chase card with no extra pull. They also seem to be giving autoCLIs although still rarely.
