Instant approved for 5k CSP this morning, which was unexpected! My credit file is fairly thin and has an open collection.
WellsFargo 900(4/16), CapOne QS 1k(8/16), BCE 500(10/17, not yet on credit report), CU personal loan with $400 balance remaining(8/17), and a 2 year old collection for 2.2k(never paid any amount due to dispute). FICO EX 08 649, 680-686 Vantage scores, 50k income.
SInce opening credit cards last April, util has been less than 10%, payments on time, and never carrying a balance. I was prequalified on Chase site for Slate, Freedom, FU, and Sapphire Preferred with a singular APR for each offer.
Lurker on these forums past couple months, wanted to share the data and thank all of you for the information I've found here.

Congratulations!
Someone always hits the lottery. You were lucky to get the CSP with a 649...
Chase must be hurting? I was approved for FREEDOM way back with a score like that. But the CSP, I'm surprised.
Do you have a long term relationship with Chase (banking/savings/etc)?
Do you have a very strong income reported or an income that Chase sees (direct deposit)?
Any loans with Chase (mortgage/auto)?
Congrats!

None of the above!

I thought so too, had a plan to approach 700 in about 3-6 months then apply for CSP. Researching the prequalify is what had me pull the trigger. Works out well to use the card for Christmas expenses towards the signup bonus.
Wow congratulations. Dv
Wow. Way to go..
Wow! Impressive!
