Pre-Screened offers really do work!
Logged into my Chase app on my phone last night and I noticed that there was a prompt for pre-screened offers. I ignored it because I thought it might an auto loan or something and went to bed. But, I woke up in the morning and I noticed the green check mark when I logged into the website so I thought it was worth looking into.
I had three offers, first one was for Chase Slate, $0 balance transfer offer. The second offer was for a Sapphire Preferred for an exclusive offer of 60,000 points. Last offer was for the CSR, 50,000 points. I clicked into the CSR, scrolled down to the APR and it was a solid APR. I read around the terms and conditions and I noticed language that said something like 'you received this offer because of your ongoing relationship with Chase.' Sounded pretty legit. I took a deep breath and clicked submit and...instantly approved for $12,000!!!
Some data points: Both TU and Experian were pulled. 9/24, 20% UTL. AAOA 3 years 9 months. Some baddies: Late payment in January 2018, paid CO in December 2017. 3 inquiries on TU, 10 on Experian. Newest account reporting on my CR on 08/2018. EXP: 650, TU: 660. Income: 121k
