Hi all,
First time poster here - in googling about the CSR card approvals I stumbled upon the forum, and it helped solidify my decision that I could easily indeed qualify for the card. I thought I'd share my data points to pay it forward to those who have helped me on my journey:
One year ago I came out of college all of my creidt cards maxed out and around 70k in debt from student loans. My scores were around the 630s mark.. all 3 of my cards with a total limit of around 7k. A few months I had payed them all of entirely not carrying a balance for almost 9 months now. One collection completely paid off May 2017 reported, and one 30-day late in December of 2017 on a store card.
Average age of account (this is where I redeem myself a bit) - 4 years as I went on a bit of a spree my freshman/sophomore year of college, and haven't opened a card since. 3 inquiries on my account (2 for student loans set to fall off this year). Over the past year I got quite a few CLI - Credit limits as follows: Cap 1 QS $6,000, Disco $8,400, and Citi $2750 (lol), Commenity acct $1200. My utilization when I applied was at 1% across all of my accounts.
Instant approval with a SL of $18,000 - no prior banking relationship with Chase!!!! Wasn't really sure of my score as I didn't know how accurate they were on the CC apps, but it says around 730-740 depending on the creditor. (PS my salary is quite modest at around 55k/yr)
Thank you to all who contribute to this forum. It really is a wonderful place to educate yourself, and I'm psyched I pulled the trigger on this one!
Congrats on your approval and awesome SL!

Congrats on the approval and the progress on building solid credit at a young age.
Congratulations on your approval!

Congrats !! Hopefully you can justify the $450 yearly fee for the card. Do you travel a lot? I myself had been trying for the card but can't get it unless i close my CSP and i also LOL/24 ... ![]()
