Cabelas Card (update)

I see everyone applying for a Cabelas Visa. I'm rather new to this, so this may be a stupid question, but is Cabelas a store card or just a regular visa to be used anyhwere? I am rebuilding and I dont want to apply for cards I probably wont use. Right now my scores are: EQ 617 TU 589 EQ 620. Do I even have any chances of getting approved? Wouldn't want to wast a hard pull.

Well I apped for the card and got it. I don't know the limit. Really doesnt concern me.As long as I am approved. Another card I can cross of my list. Back to reading and gardening until I'm ready to app for Barclays.

Cabelas is a Visa Card. A lot of people have been approved with scores in the 620+ range. I applied in November with a higher EQ score, and was approved for 2,500.00

My bestie applied and was approved, the score they use is a bankcard score off of your EQ data, hers came back at 625 and she was approved for 1,500.00. She had a clean report but HIGH utilization.

Thats exciting! Congrats. I think you can call for the limit if you want to know what it is before getting the card. I don't know which number though.
