Cap 1 CLI !!!

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share my recent experience with capital ones luv button. I requested a CLI last week and was approved for a $2k increase, I declined it and figured I'd try again later. Well I tried again today and was approved for a $3k increase! Score! 

FYI--I have a quicksilver one card. I've tried to get a PC to regular quicksilver for a year now with no luck

So hang in there, and keep trying and you might luck up! 😊

Congrats.  I see a lot of people upgrading their cap cards.  Personally I would just app for the Quicksilver Visa Sig when you think you're ready and then combine the cards and get an even higher limit rather than upgrading.

Congrats!!! I love Capital One. They gave me a chance when nobody else would, and because of their 250$ secured card 1 year ago, I have now been able to build my credit score into a decent range and build multiple accounts.

How long have you had your card?

I've had my card for 6 yrs now. Never asked for an increase in the past. So maybe I would have a higher limit by now?  Starting credit line was $750 and started as a platinum card. I got a PC to quicksilver one, but no luck upgrading this one. Current limit is $10k.

Congratulations on an outstanding CLI. I'm hoping to go for another CLI myself within two months. I PCed my Visa Platinum (former Orchard Bank card) to a QS1 last month. It is possible and I hope you get yours to a QS. Best of luck!

I'm in the same boat. I've been with Capital One for one year and have a QS and QS1, they been upgraded from other inferior products during the first 6 months, but yeah, Capital One has been really difficult to budge to upgrade QS1 to QS no AF. Next month will be an AF. I guess if they don't upgrade than I might combine it with my QS. They're both at 0 balance since I PIF these cards. I only carry a balance with cards with 0% interest 12-15 months.

I experienced the same thing. They offered me $2K last week and I declined. This week $3k. I still declined lol. I need to PC this QS1 also, but haven't tried yet.
