Hello friends!
Since my reports became 'baddie free' last month for the first time in 16 years I've been carefully taking advantage of my shiny new scores. Some of you might have read my other threads where I added some accounts last month that have been on my 'bucket list' for quite some time (and a couple of which I thought for years were simply forever out of reach).
That being said, I consider myself to be firmly 'gardening' at the moment, at least until the late fall or early winter. Last Friday I had success with my first call to Credit Solutions regarding my Lowe's card... they raised my CL from $10k to $20k. I made the comment, "No more of that janky button for me!"
Well, knowing that my TU score is likely peaking at the moment (my new accounts from last month aren't reporting yet) I figured I would see if I could get my Sam's Club MasterCard taken care of once and for all... so I can truly be done with that "janky button".
I asked for my CL to be changed from the current limit of $8500 to $20k... and it was approved!

I know there's a small chance I "left some on the table" but honestly for my profile going any higher is simply pointless (and borderline obnoxious)... as I have mentioned before, it would be like having a Corvette solely to drive on a dirt road; it would work but there's no need. 
A few data points:
My TU is currently 771 per Discover (this was from a couple of weeks ago, but nothing has changed; if anything my balances have gone down). Also my income is modest, and I was truthful. I would have been pleased even with a counter-offer... but I'm thrilled one wasn't required!
My experience was identical to last week, but this time after placing me on hold to take a look at my credit report the CSR came back and told me he either needed to call me or send a text (in my case either was fine). After I recited the code from the text I was told immediately my CLI was approved for the full amount, and would be available in a few minutes. FWIW, I logged in right away and the CLI wasn't showing yet (I held my breath for a second - had I misunderstood something?) but true to his word, a few minutes later I tried again and it was there.
I felt more confident last week when I called about my Lowe's account since it's (relatively) old at 12 years, and this account is only 10 months old. There was no indication this was considered either time, though.
My account was initially approved with a credit line of $1500, and at the time I was quite pleased (although that was cutting it a bit close for my expected usage). I got an auto-CLI back in November bring my credit line to $4850, and I used the button back in March to get it increased to $8500, where it stayed until today.
I'll also mention that when ending the call, the CSR thanked me for calling "Synchrony Bank Credit Solutions" so the 'Credit Solutions' name is still very much being referenced (I add this since there was speculation a few days ago that this was no longer the case). Also the number I used tonight was the same one I used last week: 877-379-8173. Thanks again to JamP... it was his CS experience last week that prompted me to give it a shot!
