Just received my Venture card a few days ago and ran about $700 through it over the weekend. Paid most of it off Sunday and thought maybe I'll try for a cli and see how crazy Cap 1 is.
asked for $4000 more and they gave me $500.
not the largest cli but it shows the card can grow compared to other products from C1 that I've had.
Now that I think about it maybe i should have held off so Hopefully I haven't hurt my chances of future CLIs

If you continue to use the card and put decent amount of usage, you can try again in 6 months for CLI.
Your card dosen't seem to be bucketed so it can grow as you use it.
Also no need to pay the balance before the statement is cut. I have it auto pay full statement balance and never had any issues or hindered my chance of getting CLIs

A small CLI is better than none, it shouldn't hurt your chances of a future CLI. Just wait 3-6 months while using the card and PIF every month, and then request again.
