Cap 1 auto CLI

After reading how people were getting CLI with a soft pull on account page I tried twice. The first time a few months ago and about a month ago. I was turned down both times. I just got a $1500 auto increase go figure. I have had the card 3yrs next month. Thought I would share I have carried at least a $800 + balance on 2000 for months. Went from 40% to 20% utilization.

Discover IT $17k / US Bank Ace (VSig) $13.5K / US Bank Cash+ (VSig) $13.5k

CareCredit 5k / Husq $5k / Cap1 QS $4.5k / Barclay Ring $5.35k / Citi DC (WMC) $12k
Gardening Date 7/01/16 / MyFico 08: EQ 801 / TU 777 / EX 771 / 06/08/17

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Cap 1 auto CLI

I have about given up on them too. I've been stuck at $300 for over a year now and just recently denied again. Seriously? I have better things to do than pull weeds for them.

+1

I'm glad to see they're loosening up the purse strings a bit lately.  Congrats OP.

Re: Cap 1 auto CLI

I started at $300 7th month $500 at 1year went to $2000. When Facebook was doing product change through EO switched to Quicksilver from platinum no annual fee. Now $3500 just showing there is hope to those that care.

Re: Cap 1 auto CLI

I went on Facebook no go, tried twitter that worked. I got a CLI of 3200 to 5k. Had about 1200 of 1800 used on it and told them I wanted an increase for home improvement. Lucy helped me in the EO. Keep trying I did the luv button and they said no then went the other routes

Re: Cap 1 auto CLI

I FINALLY got an increase with them. I used the love button and they approved another $500. Man was I shocked!  But only $500 with my credit history with them, no baddies and my scores??? Laughing....
