Cap One EO *****UPDATED******

Hello everyone, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

 

I sent an email on 11/21 to Cap One EO asking about the very small limit of $300 on the QS1 and also having $2000 limit on the Platinum card. I recieved a call on Friday afternoon 11/28. Nice young lady on the phone wanted to verify some information about my income and why I was asking for an increase even though the card is only a couple of months old. I told her I liked the rewards and I was doing some remodeling and Christmas shopping. I asked to increase my credit line to $2000 to match the Platinum card. I also asked to have the 1.5% rewards added to me Platinum card as well, she advised me to wait 3-5 days and she would give me a call and let me know the outcome. 

 

I logged in tonight and there is no CLI on my QS1 but the rewards have been added the the Platinum card....
Does this mean no CLI or is it going to take a few more days to see what happens?

 

Update*****

So this morning I log into the account and see that I have a CLI from $300 to $2000. 

Thank you all for your support and guidance, without the knowkedge of the members we would not have the option of getting more of what we deserve.

The rewards structure can be added instantly by the EO.   The CLI request has to go to UW for manual review and will take a few days.   Just keep an eye on your account to see.   Good luck!

I am heading to the garden now that I have received the outcome I wanted from Cap One. 

No more apps til 12/15 when I am going to try again for an AMEX.

Congrats on pursuing what you required and getting it approved. Too bad Cap1 makes people go through EO. CSRs have been rendered so worthless by management.

I think they should start saving some money by closing their customer service. Instead they should route all calls to EO Smiley Wink

+1 agree regular CSR can't even tie there shoes, none the less understand anything else or do anything else.  Probably not there faut that they have absolutely no power to do anything... Still frustrating you have to goto the EO route everytime you want something and wait a week or so... Just bad business.
