Cap One Luv Button worked finally

So I have been hitting the CapOne Luv button each month since they added it.  Each time not elgible to recent.  even though my credit steps increase was back in april.  last month the message was this card is not elgible.  So when the card was changed to a Quicksilver automaticallly by CapOne on 11/1 I though ok lets try again now that its not platinum anymore.  and TADA.  almost double increase went from 2500 to 4500.  Smiley Happy  now it can stay there and Ill wait and try again in a full year.

 

So advice to those who get flustered with the button see what the reason is and when things change try again!

Congrats 

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
