Cap One Venture

Came out of the garden last night and pulled the trigger on Cap One Venture rewards (2X points and no FTF).  My oh my, approved with $50,000 CL.  Going to try it out for awhile and see how the travel benefits stack up against some of my others.


In my wallet: Cap1 Venture ($58k), Amex PRG (NPSL), Amex HH ($4K), Barclays Ring MC ($10K), Chase Sapphire Preferred ($22K), Chase SWA Visa Preferred ($7.5K), Chase United Mileage Explorer VS ($20k), Chase Marriott Rewards VS ($12K), BOA BBR MC ($41K), BOA Visa Sig Cash Rewards ($30K), Chase Ritz VS (9K), NFCU Flagship Visa ($55K), Discover It ($6K), Citi AA ($20K). Everything else in SD.

FICO goal: 800+ (as of 3-6-15: EQ FICO 774,,TU FICO 808, EX FICO 775)

I guess it's worth it to go into gardening mode

Wife and I got one too!  not for 50k but was shocked to get one for 5k!  

 

Same here, going to try it out for the travel points and see if it helps pay for some things.....  get rid of these little 300 cards

As far as I am concerned, nothing is ever final until the card actually arrives in the mail with the stated CL, which should be in about 7 to 10 days.  So we'll see if the approval screen from last night holds.  Called them to confirm, but all they could tell me is that I was approved and the CSR couldn't see the CL.
