Checked Cap One Act recently and saw the annual fee had hit. Not liking that so much, I called CSR to request it be removed and to see if they would pc me to a better card. Nope and nope were the responses. Undeterred, I sent an email to EO. Got a call the next day and explained that I didn't really care to pay an annual fee for credit. That it was a relatively low limit card and had no rewards. Was immediately told that there was an offer for Quicksilver and that there would be no AF. Then I asked for CLI from 2000 to 7500. Was told that it would be sent to underwriter and I would be contacted soon. Checked online today to see CLI to 5000. SWEET! 3000 increase is way more than I expected. Once I reached EO customer service was excellent. I emphasized repeatedly that I did not want a hard pull and was assured there would not be one.
Way to go cap one! The only annoying thing is why couldn't this happen without having to use EO? After being told sorry, Charlie by frontline CSR, the EO zipped,this right through in less than 24 hrs. Strange, but it worked.
I wonder if this will be a signature Quicksilver?
