Cap1 CLI before Credit Steps

I've seen a lot of posts about this and I just wanted to add my $.02. I got a Cap1 Platinum almost 3 months ago and it's in credit steps. I had been reading about people getting CLIs before the credit steps and I decided to try my luck today, as my 2nd statement just came out on the 13th. Well....it worked. I use the card (but not as much as my QS1) and the last statement cut at 17% util. I plan on PIF probably at the end of the month, but I just wanted something else that would grow and I could eventually fold into my QS1, which I want to be a QS WMC eventually. Slowly but surely getting there!

Hey crown...I just had both of my Cap1 Plantinums upgraded to Quicksilver WMC's not even on my third statement yet. They both had 500$ credit lines. Hit the button on both the day I got the product change and they both went to 1500 each.

How do you go about upgrading the Platinum? After the 2nd statement cut, I did get a CLI before credit steps kicked in. I'm wondering how I can get the card upgraded?

donny10, I got on chat with Capital One and requested an upgrade for my platinum card. They upgraded it to the QS card. Thanks for the tip!

I just did this right now via chat and upgraded my platinum card to the quicksilver card.
