Cap1 Cabela's CLI

I just got a $400 increase on my Capital One Cabela's card.

Was $3,900. Now $4,300.

My last CLI, about 8 months ago, was a surprisingly decent $2500 bump. I thought my bucket had burst, but apparently it was just a leak that has since been repaired.

In response to my frequent CLI requests, they kept telling me that I don't spend enough on the card. Then in the latter part of 2023, they had a deal for 0% interest for 12 months on purchases of $500 or more at Cabela's and Bass Pro. I made a $2,200 purchase. Since then they've been telling me my average monthly payments are too low. Duh, it's 0% interest and I have other things I need to pay off. This morning their computer finally relented with a small CLI. I asked for $8k, lol.

This is my oldest card. For the first time in a long time, it is not my lowest credit limit. ($4k on the Eddie Bauer card is apparently as high as Comenity goes on that account. $4k on my 2nd Disco that I haven't had long enough to get a CLI.)

Opened in Oct 2015 with a $500 SL.

Almost 5 years later I got an auto-increase of a whopping $100 to make it $600 in Aug 2020.

01/20/21 $700

07/18/21 $800

01/16/22 $950

07/13/22 $1200

01/10/23 $1400

08/09/23 $3900 Smiley Surprised

04/06/24 $4300

Re: Cap1 Cabela's CLI

I actually just got this card about 4 months ago and has a $500 limit. I have been using it as sort of a daily driver and then pay it off in full every month so it reports a $0 balance. I've heard that about this card before about getting a surprising bump out of the blue.  Congrats to you on the CLI l
