Capital One 7-10days Mssg----------------->

Hey! I applied for the QS! card last night and received a 7-10day mssg..... received a call from the fraud department this morning asking if I applied and wanted to do additional verification..... I pass that step and was told he's sending it over to new accounts to continue processing...... Have anyone experienced this before? What can I do to speed up the process?

You can't speed up the process. You just have to wait patiently for them to finish the verification process. It is likely going to be an approval so hang in there. Update the thread once you know the end result.

Thank you for posting this thread. I was just about to do the same. I prequalified on their "soft pull" site so I applied. I received "3" hard pulls, and also was given the 7-10 day notification.

I also received the same phone call from the fraud department and thought all hope was lost. These replies have at least given me hope.

To make matters worse, I received a pre-approved offer in the mail yesterday from Capital One , but decided not to apply until this situation sorted out.

Keep us posted, and I will do the same!

Happened to me 2 weeks ago. Applied for the Venture and Venture 1 on the same day back to back. Received 7-10 on both. Never has happened to me before. After not hearing anything for about 4 days, I called the application line. They immediately transferred me to a CSR. She said congratulations! You've been approved for both. We sent your cards out yesterday. Definitely not the normal practice for Capital One, but I've seen it more often lately. If you were pre-approved on the site probably 90% you're in. Call the application line and put in your SSN to check. :-)

Wow, I didn't think to apply for both at the same time. Oh well. I'll play the wait and see game. How long from the day you applied, to the day you received your cards?

Yes, same HP. Back to back roughly 2 minutes apart. About 2 weeks to receive my cards. Standard Cap1 time lol.
