Just wanted to post a little about my journey. It was beyond time to fix my credit and get my life back on the right track after the usual unfortunate events we all go through that kills our credit. I have been working hard paying down cards and still continue to do so. I have one collection paid and should be deleted in the next month or so and one charge off that has been paid and should start to report that way. I have a few lates from several years ago that I'll just have to wait until they fall off but other than that just working on my profile and util. I owe you all for being able to do this the right way and take charge and I'll always be grateful for these boards and your contributions.
Got a surprise CLI auto love from Cap One this morning on a platinum card that I thought was bucketed. Its my oldest card and one of the last couple cards to have a balance on it that I plan to have paid off in the next month. 1750 to 3250. I'll take it. Helps my util and was very surprising as I thought it was basically capped. Collection has not been removed as of yet and co hasnt been updated yet.
Thought it might prove a useful dp to those in similar situations.
