Capital One Quick Silver Application

I just applied for a Capital One Quicksilver card. I called to check the status of my appilication and they stated that I need to send proof of identity. I wanted to know from anybody with experience is this a good sign? I burned Capital One a couple of years ago I was young and irresponsible and the account got sent to Portfolio Recovery for collections. Trying to rebuild my credit as I am working to get my first apartment. I have one card from Merrill Bank $600 limit and another from Verve $500 limit, I have been paying in full every month. EX 587 TU 583 EQ 558.

Yes I applied for Quicksilver. I faxed over the required documentation, hopefully I get approved.

A lot of lenders amp up their security on apps during the these months of the year. High fraud time with the holidays. I think you are good! they wouldnt ask for something if they probably werent going to approve u!

I had to do it as well for my first card and everything was fine. For quicker service, fax the stuff over if you can instead of mailing it in.

Just called the automated system today and it told me my application was approved but I don't know what limit is. But I'm happy anyway.
