Capital One Quicksilver One Annual Fee Gone and Credit Limit INcrease Request!

I spoke to the EO office today and requested my QS1 be upgraded to a regular QS, the rep told me that the limit had to be higher to be able to be upgraded. However the rep did remove the annual fee from my account forever. After which I proceeded to request a credit limit to $3000. I will update on the success or lack there of when I know. I have requested in the past only to be declined. I will mention that my 6 months waiting for an increase comes up this month so hopefully they will be nice and come through early.

Hmm this is odd. I just logged into my account it shows just Quicksilver with the chip...I can't remember if my previous photo had the QS1 w/o the chip in it or not haha.

It seems the EO upgraded the card to the regular QS! WOW that is awesome. I called regular customer service and they are sending my new reg QS with a chip in the mail and will receive in 4-6 business days. I am VERY surprised I got the upgrade with a $750 limit.

That means you can trade your card in for a chip card.  Cap One, for whatever reason, is reissuing chip cards on existing accounts in waves.  The new picture with the chip is the indicaiton that you're eligible.  You just need to request a new card now.

Are you sure it was the EO?

Your upgrades will be a regular Quicksilver Master Card Platinum. Will not be the Quicksilver VISA Signature. You do know that, right?
