Congratulations.....Its nice to see how amazingly these cards grew up. I am very happy for you. I have two cards, Quicksilver and Savor, and I never got not eve one CLI on both cards since they are opened. I have these cards for many years....I used to use them for 3-4 years but then I put them in the drawer after getting frustrated for not getting any CLI no matter how much I spent. So, I don't use them anymore.

Yes, @Janneman, Capital One can be picky about spending patterns to grant CLI's.  What I usually did was spend heavily for a few months prior to the request and targeting 40%+ spending of the credit limit overall since the last request.  It can take some work and focus, so you have to decide if it's worth it.  Some say not.

I agree @NoMoreE46, that a $50K limit on most any Capital One card is unusual these days.  I heard that many years ago, they were giving out higher credit lines easier and also allowing consolidation, so some members reached $50K and even $100K+ very easily.  I have seen some of our members get to $50K+ but usually just on their higher-end cards like Venture X, Venture, and Savor.

Thanks very much, @PullingMeSoftlySmiley Happy   Glad to be back on the forums at the same time as you.  I was away for many months in 2025 and haven't seen you around much lately either. Always love the Jedi-Master analogy.

Yes, I'm still chipping away at those higher limits, slowly and surely.  Hard to believe, but when I came to My FICO in 2019, I had (NO) $50K plus cards!  Now, I've got NINE that are $49K to $100K!  Smiley Very Happy  It has taken some strategy, planning, and work but I've enjoyed it.  It would have all been impossible without the help and support of the community.  I broke $50K shortly after coming to My FICO in 2019 on my >Discover< and >Bank of America< cards, both of which were two of my oldest cards.
