Capital One Venture1 approval

hello all,

just wanted to give an update. I have a quicksilver1 card that I got on the day of discharge. today marks 6 months open and I went on cap one pre-approval and was offered only  by secured cards. I decided to pull the trigger for the venture1 no AF. was instantly approved for 5k. APR is not that great but hey it's a start with a decent card and decent limit.

i added some data points to help with anyone wanting or seeking the card.

They pulled both Experian and transunion not equifax.

my Experian fico 8/9 - 666/679

trabsunion fico 8/9 - 646/647

i have a QS1 card with them 3k limit use heavy each month and pay off about 95% each statement cutoff date. I also have a capital one checking account that I deposit small checks into.

my bk was charged off on 02/02/2022

my avg age of account is 2.5 years due to an auto loan I reaffirmed.

Also, regarding the term "dp's," this is referring to data points such as your credit bureau scores, age of accounts, any relationships with Cap1, any adverse issues such as delinquencies, etc. Whatever information that can give this group insight as to how they decided on your approval terms. Hope that makes sense.
