Capital One VentureX CLI to $67,500

Really excited about this credit line increase. For context filed CH7 BK in 2022. Turned things around with a great job then a couple new businesses that I'm fortunate to have. Approved for VX in 2025 with an SL of I think 20K. Got a CLI just after opening (I forgot what it was).  Recently requested an increase to 80K, C1 countered at $67,500.  APR is 28.99% but I treat it as a charge card.  Income significantly increased in the last six months. Interestingly the CLI submission processed asked if I wanted an analyst to review for a higher limit than $67,500.  I opted for yes. The review came a few days later and I was still at $67,500.  Usually charge 20-30K a month.  My business has a C1 Venture X Business card with ~150K/month charge volume. I don't know if that business charge history influenced C1 personal decision.

I've been thinking of calling Amex to see if they'd let me back in either on their personal, business or corporate program if I paid them off.  Total was about 80K across personal and corporate cards that was discharged.

The VX is a daily driver and I've been very happy with the travel and rewards experience.  I've learned so much about finance and budgeting from the forum and I'm extremely grateful for the knowledge.
