Capital One approval after trying the 'Find out in 60 seconds' pre qual.

I've had a secured Capital One card with high utilization and a perfect payment record. All of my payments have been above the minimum and on time for the last one and a half years. After requesting a CLi, I received a document that said Capital One cannot approve CLI requests on secured cards. 

    Well. After trying out the prequal for  Capital One they suggested the Platinum Card and the Quicksilver One. I applied for the QS1 and got and instant approval for $500.

My Cap One Fako score is 616 and my Vantage is 590.

Almost makes me want to apply doe then BuyPower Card WEMC I received in the mail. Also By Cap One

Only downside is I'm moving in two weeks so I want to see if they can expedite the card. I called today to see if I could and the CSR said the Application office is closed and it usually takes 1-3 days to generate a new card number.

Congrats!  Did they confirm your enrollment in Credit Steps? If so, that will be a good CLI bump by your sixth statement with consistent on-time payments.
