Now you know that card is not bucketed, put some usage and see it grow big time.
Definitely my plan, after I hit sub on my latest Amex biz platinum for 170k I'm going to shift all my usage to it for a couple of months to try and grow it

The thinking being that after the maturity date of the asset backed security, if the account is in good standing and you're in a better credit situation than previously, it can have the limit be pushed up towards the higher end of what would get packaged at that level to simultaneously reduce the chance of the customer closing it now that they are considered risk (thus mitigating the risk of new cardholders with young or dirtier profiles). Alternatively maybe it gets repackaged in a higher bucket with a lowrer risk profile overall (and thus a lower yield, lower risk bond).
This is my curiosity if it's moved to a higher bucket or if it's finally just free – this is the other reason why I chose the venture over the no AF QS was thinking that they consider it a more "premium" card, I'm assuming that it means a greater chance of no bucket
One thing I hadn't thought of, does anyone know if a master card version of Venture exists? (QS1 is a MC)
Or will this be a welcome surprise of going from QS1 to a Visa Signature?
I believe all Venture cards are Visa and Savor cards are MasterCard. The Quicksilver though have been MasterCard and Visa.

So it looks i was pleasantly wrong about the timeframe to PC after the CLI. So instead of my 6 month guess, CapOne allowed you to do so within a month. To clarify, your QS1 was a MC and the new PC Venture is also a MC @ShreksBFF ?

I hope you keep checking on this PC option as noted.
To figure out the minimum timeframe to PC after this (guessing 6 months) would be great a DP @ShreksBFF.You also might get the option to reallocate your limits between this and your Savor.
@NoMoreE46A number of years back (not sure how long ago) Cap One switched Venture One from Visa to MC and is now normally issued as a WEMC if you app for it (similar to what happened with QS). Regular Venture and VX are the only Cap 1 cards issued as a Visa for new applicants.

I think it could still be bucketed, just at the very very high end of the bucket. He had the card for 8 years before he got this $5300 CL. I'd be surprised if it was removed from their "bucketed" cards but this seems so rare from a Cap1 bucketed card in the 1st place I guess who really knows lol. Maybe it did.

QS1 is MC, assuming Venture will be same, will update when I receive it this week.
Congrats on the cli
