Capitalone Venture One credit steps cli 3k to 5k

Hey fico family got some more positive data to report. My capitalone qs1 that was PC to VentureOne at 2 moths thru upgrade link just finished its credit steps program. It showed always as going to recieve $500 after credit steps but they gave me $2000 instead.

Spend was about $2500 in last 6 months plus a unnecessary $500 bt mostly pif every month, smashed on cli 2 or 3 times kept getting $300 offer i kept declining. Now its at 5k sweet.

Wow Congrats! It is getting harder to get a CLI from Capital One. I am so glad you got through it. I am using that same tactics for years but for whatever reason they wouldn't give me CLI anymore. It could be my Fico 8 is at low 700s but I was on 760 to 780s before and still not getting them. Not sure how to interpret their cli algorithm. Always glad to hear a good news like this.

Im bent on making my cards grow especially capitanone and lady disco so they can catchup to my freedom 10.5k card.

but joking aside it has been a challenge trying to figure out what the best algorithms to help them grow are. Lady disco has been wierder then usual no luv whatsoever. Smh. My best advice is just do whatever you normally do ( high spend, low spend, bt, pc, pif ) just do it across all your cards and not just your favorite or highest SL card.
