CareCredit- 2 CLI within 15 days

So a couple weeks ago I used the chat on my CareCredit account to request a CLI. They bumpped me from $2300 to $6K. I logged in to the account today to make a payment, and noticed a new "Services" button at the top of the page. I click on the button and "Request Credit limit Increase" popped up. Thought to myself for a second and decided to give it a try. I asked for a $15K limit , but they countered with a $7K limit.  So I got an extra $1k!  The first CLI was a hp. I'll have to wait to see if this one was a hp or sp.

That's pretty good! How long have you had your account opened? I just recently opened my account with them (less than 2 mos) and I have yet to use it. My starting limit was $8600 but before I use it I want it be over $10-13K before my procedure.

Congratulations! Care Credit was a hard nut to crack for me. I finally made it to 18k, but it took several years and many hard pulls.   You are doing great! Much quicker than I got those CLI's! Enjoy!

Congrats! I had this happen when I went through RoboLady on the phone. I went from $500 to $3000 and then a couple weeks later I tried again and it went from $3000 to $7000.

I’ve asked recently but was denied. I think it was due to me not having any charge on there since May.

I really need to get Care Credit for some dental work, but I'm scared to death of another HP for nothing. I've had around 20 HP on each report in the past two years and I've been denied for inqs many times. Do I have a shot with my current scores? I have 4-6 collections on each report, 15-20 inqs, and close to 50% utilization if you don't count my AU accounts, which it doesn't seem like most lenders do.

It’s really hard to say because I think the collection accounts are going to get you. I had a lot of collections and didn’t get approved from them until I had gotten those taken care of or some fell off my report.

Your best bet may actually to go to your dentist or find one that takes CareCredit and do the application process through them as they will call to input your info and ask for approval.

Which may result in Syncrhony looking at it different vs. just another online app.

Probably not much hope for me then, because I don't see any possibility of taking care of the collections, as most are medical and around $2,500 each, plus one over $5,000 and an $850 ambulance bill, all for my children.

CareCredit is odd

I was instantly approved for the $9k I asked for on the online registration.

Had it a couple months, used once for glasses, was calling about a Marvel SL increase and they got me to try for a CLI on my CareCredit so I said ok.

I asked for $25k, shooting for the stars, and they came back apologizing that they couldn’t give me the $25k but asked if $20k is ok.

I was very shocked and surprised. I won’t be asking for more.

I want to get work done in the future, so it’s nice to know it’s there wgen the time comes.
