It's been mentioned numerous time in many threads here. Also, I got my CFU when I would've been 5/24 if they counted my Synchrony Amazon store card and I got green star "You're Already Approved" offers in app 9 months later when one card aged out but I still would've been 5/24 had they counted the Synchrony card.
Congrats on your Chase Sapphire Preferred approval
No, none of the six cards are store cards. Three are Amex cards and three are Navy Federal cards.
Great that you mention that though it is best to know as much info as to add to data. Hopes this helps.

As far as I know, store cards do count as new accounts under 5/24 : "Generally, all personal credit cards, including charge cards and retail store cards, are factored into your 5/24 count. " https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/travel/chase-5-24-rule-explained
Congratulations on your Chase Sapphire Preferred approval, @SumMischief!
The Sapphire cards are great! Enjoy!
As for the 5/24 rule, while not "official" from Chase it is well-documented, possibly better than any other lender's data points since they are such a large lender. (Other lenders may have similar rules which just aren't as well documented.) The rule applies to new revolving credit accounts reporting to the credit bureaus on your PERSONAL credit file. So, new business cards don't count. Installment loans like personal loans, auto loans, mortgages don't count. It's possible that some store cards wouldn't count - if they didn't report to the bureaus, but they do count if they are reported and are revolving accounts.
Chase has long allowed some named exceptions to the 5/24 rule, and the "Green Star" or "Black Star" preapprovals are the best known. They can be offered on a case-by-case basis on any of their cards. Occasionally, there have been reports on some members being approved in excess of 5/24 without the Green/Black Star, most recently on the Chase Amazon cards. But other than the above cases, 5/24 appears to be a consistent rule.
Ah, I know what you're talking about I've seen the "green star" before. However, in the mobile app, I didn't see one. I did decide to go back into my account since you said this via the web, the only offer that remains is the auto loan and it has a "green star". I can assume the credit card offers were the same but I let that info slip.

These two cards are my daily's. I keep sniffing around for offers of auto-increases or new cards and haven't had the luck yet. Congrats!!
Congratulations on your CSP approval!
Targeted offers don't bound to 5/24 unofficial rule which is the case with OP. However, it has been noticed, perhaps only by ME that Chase has recently changed some of their rules/policies based on my observations on various credit forums/groups lately. For example, a person got approved for a Chase card (Sapphire) while he was 11/24. We are not talking about co-branded cards like Amazon to which Chase was lenient anyway from the get-go. Like Chase changed their rule/policy on CLI requests last year from HP to SP, similarly I think Chase has changed their unofficial rule of 5/24 since last month ...at least for certain cards....I know that we might need to see more datapoint in this regard, but I have already noticed on 3 different credit forums/groups since last month that a few people reported about getting approved for Chase core-cards despite of way to over 5/24. I guess, time will tell as more datapoint is surfaced.....

Very nice! I haven't sniffed a pre-approval being over 5/24.
