Re: Chase AARP approved!!

Congrats! YEs Chase offers the AARP Card in a non-signature version usually for CLs that are less than $5K.

This makes my forth Chase card in a very short period of time.  I am a little disappointed in the 3.5k CL.  Being as this is a Visa Signature card I was expecting at least 5k.  Do they offer this card in a non signature version?

Not liking the CL, but I am definately liking 3% cash back on dining!!

Congrats wacdenney

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Looks like this is the one I got.  Even keeping my util under 10%, 350 should be plenty for gas and fast food for a month.  I'm glad to have the card benefits in any version.

I am wondering how I'm going to feel at my age using an AARP card.  I assume the feeling of 3% will outweigh!  Smiley Very Happy

Re: Chase AARP approved!!

Congrats Wacdenney!

Thanks for the details on your approvals.  I've been getting offers - none pre-approval, from AARP for this card.  I've hesitated in hopes of gardening for better CLs and APRs.

But this card does have some great benefits.  Although I really want that CSP!!!

AND YES... I'm an AARP member! Gray hair and all!!   Smiley Tongue

Re: Chase AARP approved!!

Congrats! Smiley Happy.....i applied for the Chase AARP last week and was NOT approved, i applied because of the 1-3% Cashback that it gives you plus if you spend $500 in 3 months they will give you $100, That sounded good to me, Anyways, Soon i will collect $100 from my Chase Freedom and $100 from my Bank of America Card for spending $500 for each in 3 months, NOT bad... Smiley LOL

Re: Chase AARP approved!!

My card arrived in the mail today.  It is definately NOT a signature version but it sure is pretty!  I like the red color and I like the 3% on gas and dining even more.  I can't wait to take it out for a spin.
