Both of my cards had to go through verification as well.. I think cause I share an address with someone that has multiple Chase cards as well (part-time) roommate and that might cause it? Anyways.
I beg to differ. Chase did in fact waste their time sending me through a verification hassle to end up with a denial, which I did not appreciate whatsoever lol But I highly doubt thats the case for OP so I will say a pre congrats ![]()

heavenly notice something different in my sig? haha
I had verification too today. called, answered some questions and was approved.
I have a strong feeling that's an approval.
If you also got you'll hear from us in 2 weeks or 30 days through the automated system by phone, that's also a good sign.
Thank you everyone again! I will definitely keep everyone updated about the outcom whether denied or approved! A little nervous but either way I will get it done and update everyone. I never got a status update from the automated line. When I would call it would pause for a second and then just say "to repeat this information press 7" so it never gave me any type of status
Yep, it is CHASE messing around again......
I applied for the CHASE Slate and gave them ages of time to decide until I saw the e-mail saying, ''Your Card Is In the mail'' one week later.
It was like a sport.......
Good Luck and Happy Memories here...Credit Queen-!!!!!

That's pretty disingenuous! Seriously, how can they justify verification?
I did the verification "dance" last night, faxed in my DL and was told I'd hear in 7-10 days. What's the legitimacy of verifying my info if they're going to decline me? There were no questions concerning my app or CR.

Thats exactly how Im feeling! Why go through the hassle of having me lift a fraud alert to then tell me my business is too new and my account history with Chase is too new? Had a Freedom for less than one month when I got Sapphire, history wasnt an issue then. Business length is clearly listed on the application and would have been noticed before the verification letter was sent out. Not to mention when I called to confirm the fraud alert removal I was told "Im endorsing your application for approval, you'll receive a welcome packet within 7-10 days." :/ Then I call like an idiot thinking I can get it expedited and the guy says Im denied. If they had simply sent a denial letter in the first place with the reasons above I would have shrugged it off and said ok maybe next time. But this has been pure nonsense!
Is this a business card app? Did you call recon?
