After getting my discover 4k CLI I wanted to grow my chase card. I am getting married this year and I need to make large purchases. Sent a SM for a CLI trying to get a SP increase first, no dice. Sent a SM back saying to do the hard pull. Got a message back saying 7-10 days. Did some searches on myfico about the 7-10 message, someone said to call chase credit analyst. I did and after answering questions about why I wanted it, income, housing payment, job title, and current address, I was placed on hold for what seemed like forever. Was approved for 4.5k for a total credit line of 16k which is what i asked for. I feel like I could have gotten more, but I am happy with what I have.. My chase sapphire is now my highest limit. Major thanks to the myfico community for all of the helpful information!!! Oh yea they pulled experian 
why does everyone pull experian for me. TU has 0 inquiries and EQ has 1, EX now has 5, 4 in the last year.

Congrats on the CLI! For me, with the exception of Amex and Chase, everyone pulls TU.
