It's been a while since i apped... probably since june..... i really have wanted the Chase CSP so i went for it..... AND I GOT INSTANT APPROVAL!!!! 5K limit... that will be my highest yet!!!
Is there anything i need to know about this card that makes it so specail besides that its metal?

Wow these CSP approvals are getting out of hand hahha, and others will let you know the benefits Congrats!!!
Specialness depends on how much you can spend! You get 40,000 bonus points once you spend $3K in three months, which is what makes getting the card pretty much of a no-brainer, as this is worth $400 cash back or $500 in travel. After a year, you will be hit with the annual fee of $95, and that is when you need to decide if it worth keeping.
The most important feature of the card is the ability to transfer the points to frequent flier/hotel programs, which can be very valuable, e.g. making a point worth 3c rather than 1.
Or you can redeem for travel at 1.25 c per point.
But if you don't transfer points, this card is probably not worth having past the first year, there are better cashback cards.
Do you have any other Chase cards? I recently received the Slate & Freedom but realized after the fact that I should have went for the Sapphire. They turned me down because I already had applied for the other 2 cards within a short timeframe and said they want to see my usage on the other 2 cards before they could approve me and to call back in a couple of months. Would you mind sharing your stats with the forum? Thanks! OH AND CONGRATS ON THE APPROVAL!!!
I'm still in the first year of CSP and I am mainly using other cards. I have tons of Avios so plan to move UR points to United for my trips to Europe.

Thanks everyone for the great info!!!!! and Jbb... i have a Freedom and a Slate... slate i barely use... i think im going to cancel it.... but my limits are 2300 and 2000.... typically i thought i would have to call in for review but they went ahead and approved me off the bat. Id say my credit is pretty swell... i used to have bad credit but i worked my self back up. I apped for Freedom and Slate both this year.... i forgot when.
Which CRA did they pull for you and which state are you in?

You can move your slate CL over to another card and leave 500 on it before you close it.

LOL, there is a lot of apping and approving and then asking what's the card about afterwards lately. DO YOUR RESEARCH folks!
Lucky for you the card is great.
Longtimelurker, what do you transfer your points to that make it worth it for you?
+1 Couldn't agree more.
Congrats to the OP - it's a great card but only if it fits your lifestyle.
