I have 4 cards with Chase: CSR ($40k), FU ($20k), old F ($2.5k), and Amazon Prime ($12k). These limits have been set for a while, and while I do spend quite a bit on Amazon, I never got to experience the CLI fun that folks have had in past months. No harm, no foul. I burned Chase in 2007 with my BK7, so I was just happy that they've given me this much credit, and I just assumed that Chase didn't wouldn't ever offer an auto-CLI.
That is, until this morning when I opened my Chase app with a popup that says, "Congratulations! We've increased your credit limit to $55,000." when I went to check my CSR transactions.
Both shocked and happy. I suppose 🦄 do exist.
Other data: FICO8 815+ on all 3 bureaus, income in six-figures. Mortgage 9 months ago + 2 new CU cards (DCU, BECU cards) with last one 6 months ago.
