I recieved the email last night late that simply said, see below.....
So, I looked it over some more and decided to go for it.
There is a special link you must click and takes you to another log in screen that I have never seen before. I logged in with normal user and password.
It have the last 4 of the card #, my current limit, and new limit if approved.
At the top it already indicated if I was approved that the new limit would be 12,000.
Specifically said no credit report would be pulled. I took a screen shot of that....
Got to the screen where I all put was my income, then hit continue, then a confirmation page, then submitted.
I was approved for a 1,500 increase to go from 10,500 to 12,000. It took me then to my accounts summary page, and the limit was already there showing the 12k.
Of course I will take it, but it seemed it was not based on truly my income, but the system already determined how much I could get prior to entering the information.
I have heavy use of this card and my CSP.
This card is almost two years old.
Total limits across all 4 of my Chase cards is $ 40,400
