she probably coudn't resist the itch............ congratz though!!!! i got the same CL last week.. oh well, my time will come...... if only I could just stop applying
It is hard to avoid the temptation. I have been app free for about 2 months. What stops me is thinking about all the points I have lost with the adding an account every few months. I would likely be in the 760+ if not for all the new accounts this year. Stay strong!!! I will try to do the same!!!

I also received an auto cli at 4 months from Chase on my Chase Amazon rewards Visa..only 300 though. I was able to get my Freedom card credit limit doubled at my 2 month mark but I took a hard pull for that.
Try calling the 1-800-432-3117 number following the prompts to get to Status of Application. It should tell you your CL. I just did it yesterday.
Congratulations! Actually, I'm surprised you didn't get a higher limit. Your scores are good. Chase looks at your other CLs though, and since they're on the low side, they went along the same lines. Chase is a good company to be with - good customer service IMHO - but they can take time to increase your limit. Use the heck out of the card, PIF each month, and you'll get a CLI at some point. If you can get higher limits on any of your other cards, that will help too.
you'll just have to wait til the card arrives......my guess is the CL is $500 i know that cause i'm a negotiator, and chase only gives you an immediate CL decision if the limit is at least $1,000
ex-chase employee
p.s. - a good reason why i'm an ex chase employee....please stay away from using them. CITI bank is much much better, and their simplicity card is easy to get approved for... 0% for 18 months, the freedom is only 0% for 12-15 months ( usually 12) and the go to rate on chase is non-negotiable, as CITI bank is always negotiable
congrats use it alot and PIF and youll give em a reason to cli you, GL.
