Well I culdn't resist the $200 offer and dove in against my better judgement. As I guessed, it went to decision pending with all of my new accts this year. Fortunately I've kept all balances and util low so the new accounts wasn't even mentioned. Called up the analyst for a decision and she asked me to move around some limits. Probably should have done more, but I only moved $3k from my Hyatt card to the Freedom. Looks like I've reached my limit with Chase finaly. I did manage to get the lowest APR (13.99%) after the intro period. But hey, at least I get the bonus!

Congrats! What's your overall credit limits with Chase? Mine are sitting at $8900 and i'd love to request a CLI for my Chase freedom in 6 months so i could request the Siggy

Thanks! I'm at $35k with Chase, total $200k across various lenders. I don't mind the non-signature Freedom either.
One interesting tidbit, she asked about a chargeoff from 2001 that was paid in full in 2003. This was the first app (out of 4) with Chase it has been brought up. The analyst said it didn't matter, but I'm sure it does even though it's been off my credit report for some time.
Congrats on your approval! Maybe, they're onto us because I had a rep asking me about an old account from 1999 ![]()

you have nice CLs with Chase then and I guess you have a decent income too. Yeah i've read on this forum that Chase is very known to have a long memory and hold grudges when you default but it was good that you were able to pay them back
