Chase Freedom (Unlimited?) Approval

Unknown SL. I applied a few weeks ago, got 30 day message on phone, then a few days later updated to 7-10, so I gave up on it. Received letter to verify. Approved afterwards. Odd thing, I app'd for the Freedom Unlimited, but letter/verify lady said reference Freedom. Was I downgraded due to borderline app, or will I still receive the Freedom Unlimited?

Last card I wanted before gardening for mortgage reasons. But, including store cards I was above 5/24, so not sure if data point or not.

Neither card is an upgrade or downgrade, they are just different products and the reps call both of them Freedom.

As for 5/24, are you sure 5+ new cards were reporting when they pulled your credit? If not, that's probably why they approved you. If they can't see the new accounts, they don't know about them.

Yeah, including store cards I have 6 cards reporting that are new in the past 24 months. Not including them, I'm at 3

Makes sense that they're different. Still confused as to why docs reference Freedom when I applied to Freedom Unlimited. Guess I'll find out in a few days when I get the card!

All, received email referencing freedom unlimited. So appears wanderingbuilder is correct. Will update if I receive a different card
