Chase Freedom and Amex

On 11-25-13 I app'd for the Chase Freedom and got the 30 day message Then they double pulled me on EX (I expected) and TU (didn't expect)..... But no worries.....they called me on 11/27 to make sure I applied (verification) and had me verify my CL on my Chase Amazon Visa and it's due date and then told me to hold on.   Then she congratulated me on my new Freedom with a 4k limit.  

Then on Thanksgiving, I spoke to Amex about my Amex Delta, which I've had for 2 weeks now and they PC'd me to the BCE.  Still waiting for this card to hit my reports for the +23 years backdating.

I thought you had to wait a year before you could do an Amex PC (at least that's what they told me). What number did you use to put in the PC request?

I found this post from April, which aided in my decision to switch.  Now, granted I lost the "promo" for the BCE, but I'm already a Prime Amazon member and the spending requirement of 1000 in 3 months for a 50 credit was dismal, so no loss there.  Just happy there's no annual fee, like the rest of my cards.  Oh and there was no phone # I called -- I did it all through chat.  Hope that helps!

AMEX PC from Delta Skymiles to BCE

"I called AMEX yesterday to change my Gold Delta Skymiles to BCE as I realise I will not be doing much of air travel in coming 1-2 years and I didnt want to accumulate miles. As per the CS you can PC from a revolver to a non AF revolver any time but to PC to a AF revolver you need to wait 13 months. Its is due to the limitations the CARD act or some other law regarding how much AF they can charge in a year. CSR also told that you can not change from charge to revolver or vice versa. I thought I just let everyone know that PC with AMEX can be done before 13 months."

Wait. So I just have to send a SM and PC to a BCE? I only have a AMEX Blue. But not sure how this would effect my 61 Day CLI. 

Might do my 3X CLI in a week and then PC to BCE if that's the case.
