Why not try to recon? You already took the HP for the app, what is the worst that could happen after calling recon? They say no? I attempted to Was told you can't recon a a recon though haha Good luck and congrats, it's better than my $500 SL haha

I had a similar situation just happen i was approved 2 days ago for the freedom for 4K , called today and was told  it would be another HP on top of the 2 they just did to possibly give me a CLI, i said no but theydid offer to overnight my card so something positive came out of it.

Thank you (yes its me. ) as i was wondering just like op. just got my approval on friday for the freedom. also 2k limit.

ok if you say wait. that is what i will do. i will not app it until i see the pre approval on their site. great info. not wasting another hp just for a couple thousand. would much rather. get the csp. or even another card. don't know what happened to the regular chase sapphire. none preferred.
