Chase Hyatt Approval after Recon

Since I run the Chase ecosystem mostly, I've been thinking about switching to Hyatt for my primary hotel chain. I dropped to 4/24 as of today and decided to pull the trigger this morning. Even though I have a 750+ FICO score and a solid income, I've added a lot of debt recently so I was worried about my DTI in their eyes. Sure enough I got the dreaded "7-10 day pending review" message; the first time I hadn't gotten an instant approval with Chase. I called the recon line and eventually spoke to a friendly credit analyst. She confirmed the only reason for denial was the debt to income. Long story short, I was able to be approved by moving some of my existing CL from my Freedom Unlimited to open the Hyatt card. Interestingly, I could move CL from any of my personal cards except my Amazon Prime and Freedom Flex so I guess there are some rules Chase has? My Amazon card only has a CL of $4k so it might be a minimum CL requirement there, but my Flex has a $10K CL and was opened before my CFU . Curious if anyone has any insight into that?

@keekers Congrats on the approval! I recently applied for the CSP and was denied due to having too much available credit on my Prime Visa, at the time it was 35k I have since redudced it however I think its stupid that they wont move from it when its serviced and approved my Chase...
