So excited...just got approved for $5000 cl with the Marriott Rewards Premier card. I travel a lot for business and use the Marriott hotels a lot. Credit scores are high 600's...nothing to write home about but no baddies, good mix of credit, oldest account is 23 years old and hhi is $100,489.
Although my AAoA is only about 5.5 years - I've been rebuiding since last year and needed to increase revolving credit....so have several new accounts in last 6 months. Good shape tho - keep util under 10% and mostly PIF. Mostly use Amex charge cards to avoid high util. Can't wait to get my new card.
Congrats!

Congrats on your approval ![]()
Congrats! In case you didn't read my other response I'll say it again here. I was just approved for the Marriott on Monday and the card takes a little longer to get than normal because they have to link it to your Marriott account and laser engrave the number on the metal card. After 2 days (which is how long it takes for them to get an account number for the card) call them back and tell them to expedite it or else it would take a lot longer
