still got the Amex Plat but was trying to get another Amex card and backdate it and drop the Plat. The 450.00 charge is ridiculous and I mostly used it to get into US Airway lounges when I travelled but that is going away in March. Unfortunately, I was denied by Amex so that isnt happening right now. I probably spent close to 70k last year on the Plat on business expenses/travel. I was surprised to not get approved for the Green truthfully.
