So after several months of paying down my CC debt (from a whopping 95% utilization down to 62% utilization), I finally got a pre-qualification from Chase for the Sapphire Preferred card (along with pre-quals from other sites like Credit Karma and CardMatch). As nervous as I was to apply, I pulled the trigger anyway, and to my delight I was instantly approved with a $7500 CL!!! They pulled TransUnion, and at the time of application I only had 1 other app in the past 24 months (so I was not affected by the 5/24 Chase rule).

While my utilization is very low, I am waiting for a few baddies to clear up and it looks like I'm going to end up around 760-800 scores across the board so you give me a good ballpark to hope for as far as SL
