I took the plunge and applied for the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card and was shocked to be approved with an $18,900 CL. Interest rate is a little high at 24.99% but I don't plan on carrying a balance anyway.
I've raised scores on all three bureau's by about 100 points each. Currently stand at EQ-756, TU-737, and EX-729. My income is north of $150k so that probably helped as well.
Now to get the spending done to earn the bonus miles.
I'm curious about your profile. Is that Cap1 and Disco your only cards before you applied for the CSP? Avg age of accounts?

Congratulations on your ..

Yes the Cap1 and Discover are my only cards outside of store cards for firestone, QuikTrip, and New Egg. I'm also an AU on two of my spouses Cap1 cards, but those are probably more harmful than helpful as she hasn't figure out to keep the utilitization low yet. Both are still over 80%
Chase only pulled Experian. AAOA there is 5 years 4 months.

All my scores come from myFICO. I do use Credit Karma but not for scores. I invested in the monthly 3 score package for the last 12 months to help me figure stuff out and know what consequences my actions were having.
