Thankyou SJT! I was going to post something more about this today too. The selected for you checkmark has an actual set APR number, not a "based on credit worthiness rate" between 2 different APR percentages. I think I've read before that's a good sign. I feel as if I have a strong enough profile for it too but of course I'm afraid of the waste of a hardpull if the 5/24 rule does still apply to me.
Also, this afternoon, I got a pre-approval email from Chase on the CSP. It says if im interested to apply before October 10th. What to do, what to do????

The green chek is a very good sign. They don't hand those out very often. As for your 5/24, you might actually be under. Mine was down to the day. If you have CK, they show you exactly how old the account is. If it is 2y 0m or greater you are in the clear.

Also it won't hurt to check with a branch, but they won't tell you if you are going to get it without an actual app.

Re: Chase Sapphire Preferred

OP, contrats on the approval. If you are under the 5/24 rule, the FU is a great card, especially when pard with the CSP or CSR. You can transfer cash rewards from the FU to the CSP. It lets you use the best card for points. Sometimes the FU % back is better then the 1X CSP.

This is known as the Freedom 2-Step.
